A: Rock salt is
usually found in your local grocery store in the salt section. We occasionally offer bags
of rock salt on our site.
Q: Can I use another kind of salt?
A: Our customers have
had success using very coarse sea salt and other salts in place of the rock
salt. We recommend using a larger amount
of salt if you are not using rock salt.
We do not recommend using salt made for your driveway as this has is
made with chemicals.
Q: I’m planning and
ice cream birthday party for my child.
Which ice
cream kit should I buy?
A: We recommend
purchasing a kit based upon the number of children attending the party. If you would like to give each child their
own ice cream ball, we have party kits specifically for that. If you are not giving the ball out as a gift,
we recommend purchasing more than one ice cream ball so that the kids can
create enough ice cream for everyone to have some without waiting.

A: The original size ice cream ball makes one pint of ice

the accessories for the ice cream ball kits separately on our site.
Q: How do I clean the
Ice Cream Ball?
A: To clean the ice cream ball you should empty all the rock
salt and ice out of the ice end of the ball.
Rinse well with warm water so that no salt remains in the ball. Wash the canister end with soap and
water. Leave the caps off both ends of
the ball and let it air dry.
